Reflections After the Wilderness

In 2010, this space began as “Riding the Wave,” a pilgrimage born out of loss and a cross‑country journey along the historic Route 66. For over a decade, it served as a sanctuary for families navigating grief and a journal of survival in the desert.

Today, this site has been reborn as Shore & Sand Co. — a creative studio dedicated to exploring the hidden stories of God’s Economy in creation. Here, I share revelations discovered during a 40‑year journey with the sand dollar: a testimony of grace, divine order, and new life written into the natural world long before we were here to read it.

From the silence of the Mojave to the symmetry of the sea, this is a collection of reflections after the wilderness. It is a place where the past is honored, and the future is unfolding — one story, one image, and one truth at a time.
